Our Partners
Our partners at Cross Roads Cowboy Church have spent many years devoted to the christian faith. Our partners enjoy sharing that faith and knowledge with others in our church community. Here are a few of Cross Roads Cowboy Church's partners, starting with:
Glen and Diana Chavers (CRCC Leadership Council-Glen Chavers Elder)
Glen and Diana have been ministering in many ways for about 30 years. Glen and Diana have one daughter, Annie . Glen has a son and daughter-n-law, Shane and Angie, and granddaughter, Lindsey. Shortly after their marriage in 1979, Glen and Diana began teaching youth at Hill Baptist Church in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Glen was a driller in the Gulf of Mexico and began a Bible Study out there. The Louisiana Baptist Convention supplied him with Bibles for distribution to the oilfield workers. Diana worked with GA’s and Mission Friends at HBC. Glen and Diana was both involved in a music ministry in Louisiana with Rev. Bob Sivils and The Good Folks. In Tennessee, Glen and Diana taught an adult class on Sunday morning and Wed. nights for several years. They have been involved with a music ministry called Second Chance Ministries. While at First Baptist Church in Fairview, Tennessee, Glen was ordained as a deacon and has served as Chairman of Deacons.
Glen has been ordained as a Leadership Minister at Cross Roads Cowboy Church. They are elated and humbled to be a part of the CRCC ministry, and are excited to see what all God is going to do through this ministry.
Don and Teresa Smith (CRCC Leadership Council-Don Smith Elder)
Don and Teresa have been married for 26 years. They have one daughter, Morgan who will be graduated in 2008 from Fairview High School. In 1987 they moved to Chattanooga and became very active in Ridgedale Baptist Church. Don was transferred and moved to Ohio. In 1993 they finally got a chance to get back to Tennessee. They helped start a new church plant in Franklin and served as Youth Leaders. Don was also elected and served as a Trustee for the church. Teresa was very active and led the youth in several dramatic productions throughout the years. They moved to Fairview in 1999 and became members of First Baptist Church. Don was ordained and served as a Deacon. Don has been ordained as a Leadership Minister at Cross Roads Cowboy Church. When Don and Teresa were approached about starting Cross Roads Cowboy Church, they were excited about having the opportunity to reach a different group of people in the Fairview area. Don and Teresa own the land and the pavilion where Cross Roads Cowboy church meets. God opened the doors for the purchase of this land and they know that this was God's plan from the start. They feel that this ministry allows everyone to get out of the box and worship the Lord in a "Come As You Are" way.
Ricky and Diane Campbell (CRCC Leadership Council-Ricky Campbell Elder)
